A 6 Year Old’s Question on Star Quakes
Brains Matter has once again contributed to the 365 Days of Astronomy podcast. My six year old asked whether magnetism could crush a star. The following podcast is the result of trying to find the answer to that!

When I saw “Star quakes” that made me think of “star cakes.” But actually, I was thinking of Star Crunch:

What I would really like to know is: how does a magnetar, if it is a form of neutron star, actually maintain a magnetic field at all?
As I understand magnetism, it is a force which results from the movement or alignment of eletrons. If a neutron star is composed entirely of neutrons, and no free electrons, how is a magnetic field produced?
